BRAND
FINANCE, a leading independent valuation consultancy specialising in brands,
has prepared a list of the most valuable Croatian corporate brands.
In this
survey the ROYALTY RELIEF method has been utilised as it is favored by tax
institutions and courts of law. The attraction of this method is that it
calculates brand values by reference to documented, third-party transactions,
and that it is based on publicly available financial information.
Considering
trade industry, in this survey Magma has taken the high third place with its
143 million dollars worth brand, right behind Konzum and Tisak.
Considering
overall results, Magma has taken the 17th place on the most valuable Croatian
brands list, and has moved one place up compared to 2008. This time Magma left
behind a number of companies from its industry, as well as from other lines of
business, and again proved its brand distinctiveness in the Croatian market.
Let us
remind you that in 2008, among as many as 800 domestic and foreign brands
finalists Magma secured victory with the 3 best brands: Magma, Turbo limac and
Turbo sport. The specialist board composed of leading marketing, business and
academic experts and media representatives, as well as 10 000 members of the
general public, took vote on the basis of recognisability, reputation, quality,
reliability and long-standing consistency.
