Innovative Best Buy Award survey

The "Best Buy Award" survey, which is the grounds for awarding the "Best Buy Award" awards and certificates, was conducted for the first time in Croatia according to the special "Deep Mind Awareness" method in January of 2010. The copyrighted "Best Buy Award" surveying method, DEEPMA, was developed by company Axios in cooperation with the leading auditing and consulting organisation PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Value for money

The basic difference between the Best Buy Award study and the others conducted so far in Croatia is that the examinees are asked not to give the answer from the top of their mind or not to state the things they use most often (because the price is what matters primarily, or the quality or the vicinity of the outlet etc.), but rather to think through prior to answering the required category: “What product/service presents the best price and quality ratio, i.e. provides superior quality in moderate prices”.

Magma and Turbo limač – synonyms for toy and baby equipment

MAGMA, as a parent company of Turbo limač chain stores, was founded in September 1989 as a privately owned company. The first store was opened in Zagreb under the name "Turbo limač". The name was patented and became synonymous with toys, baby equipment and other equipment of world famous brands. Today, Turbo limač is the largest and the most widely-known toy and baby equipment store chain in Croatia and the region.

Following the international standards

The entire “Best Buy Award” survey was conducted according to the provisions of the International Code on Market and Social Research, brought by the International Code Council (ICC) and the World Association of Opinion and Marketing Research Professional (ESOMAR)

The basic purpose of this survey was to get an insight into the minds and perceptions of Croatian people on brands and services, as well producers and traders that are presumed to give the best ratio of quality and price – the so called best buy. The opinions are provided not only from the buyers, but from the non-buyers as well, but who have a relevant opinion based on other people’s experiences.

The purpose of the "Best Buy Award" project and certificate is to facilitate the search for the best buy within the Croatian goods and services market.
